My mother was born in Phila Pa 1939--Her mothers name was Alice Johnson and Her fathers name was Eddie Williams Shorts (aka Slim) My grandmother gave my mother up at birth, therefore my mother never met her blood mother. Last I heard her mother remarried a man with the last name of Sheppard(not sure of the spelling) and moved to the Caskill Mountains in NY..my mother spent her life in search of her biological mother...I also beleive her mother had several other children after giving birth to my mother....anything would be helpful. I am her daughter.Dorethea Leach seaching for my mothers side of my family...aunts, uncles,etc....thanks..any information would be appreciated. Birth certificate is available
