We have a mysterious Myron in our tree. He is known to have been called "the Hungry Dutchman", "Curly", and "Boy". It is even rumored that he wasn't even named until he was about 8 or 10 years old, at which point he was named "Myron Akin". His parents are George W. Jewett and Julia Fuller of Indiana and Colorado. Myron is said to have been born in Colorado at Lone Pine. He moved to Laramie, Wyoming...married Jesse B. Jackson...disappeared about 1911-12 (abandon his family?), and doesn't reappear until 1948-49, knocks on his son, Alva's door one afternoon, introduces himself as "Myron Akin, your father"...stays for dinner...talks about tire sales in San Francisco and Canada, has a beautiful young woman with him...leaves that night...
