My grandfather was James Jaynes, Katie's step brother. Her mother was Cora Hines. Cora was married to an Abbott, and Katie and a boy named Percy were born. Then Cora divorced Abbott and married George Thomas Jaynes in Wash. Co. IN. I knew Katie married a Forest. I also thought she had a child. She died of TB, so I was told. The brother died young. Could this be the same family?I think she was buried in Salem, Wash. Co. IN.
