Jane/Jennie Hough

I have a copy of the Newton County (IN) 1860 census that lists a Jane Hough to the family of Calvin R. Hough, born 1857. The family trees I'm seeing here list Jennie Hough, born 1867, but no Jane. Anybody have any ideas where Jane went, or if they're the same people? The family isn't on the next available census, I think they moved to the next county over.
