I am searching for information on a James Hobson who served in the Civil War. He enlisted in Co. L on March 3, 1862 at Riply, Tippah Co., Mississippi. His rank was private when he enlisted; his age 22; his occupation "farmer" and his place of birth Mississippi. He was Transferred to Co. F during Mar/April, 1862 muster roll. He was discharged due to disability ( Typhoid Fever )from Richmond, Va.. back to Ripley. I have not been able to locate him since receiving this information. If you can help, thanks. Lea
