My Great Uncle was Stanley Thorpe son of Charles Edward Thorpe and Amelia Underhill, born 1906-1972? He married in 1931, West Ham Louisa Hill known as Cissy or Cecilia, does anybody know why this was, because she didn't have a middle name?
Her parents were Albert Edward Hill and Florence Louise Hill nee Wade. I'm told that my Great Aunt died quite young because of childbirth complications. Can anybody confirm this for me as I don't know what year she died, but assume she was born circa 1911?
