Do you know of any other children of Zachariah and Sally Race? I am a descendant of Jacob Haws/Hawes, born abt 1795, New York. His daughter Catherine married Charles Scott and they resided in Conquest, Cayuga County. The last census I have been able to find them on is the 1892 Conquest census (which replaces the 1890 census, destroyed in a fire). Catherine and Charles' daughter, Calista Scott (born 1850 Conquest), was my g-g-grandmother and married an unknown Peterson. Calista Peterson is also last listed on the 1892 census, as are her sons John and Byron Peterson. John married (1st) Lillie Garner in the 1890's and (2nd) married Frances Simons, 1899, Rochester, Monroe Co., New York. At the time of their marriage, John listed Conquest as his home and Frances listed Jordan, Onondaga Co., New York). They moved to Nyack, Rockland Co. New York in the early 1900's.
I am looking for information on Jacob Haws and unknown wife, siblings of Catherine Haws, Charles and Catherine Scott, daughter Calista and her siblings and Calista's son Byron.
