Jonathan and Rebecca (East) Harrold moved from Grayson County, VA to Wayne County,IN and then to McLean County, IL where Jonathan died about 1838. Rebecca died in DeWitt County, IL after 1860. In 1860 census she was living with son Eli. Son Absalom remained in IN but his daughter Mary and her husband Nathan Cane moved to DeWitt County, IL after 1860 census. Nathan & Mary's youngest daughter Sophronia Ann Cane was born in DeWitt County in 1868. Jonathan & Rebecca's daughter Naomi married James Fears. Prior to 1860 they moved to ElMonte, Los Angeles, CA where they appear in the 1860 census. Looking for others of this Harrold line.
