I am the daughter of George Leroy Harris. I was born 10/1/1948. He was married to my mother, Julia Ann Lewis (Salem,MI). My birth certificate says that he was born in 1925 at Petoskey, Michigan and that his race was Negro. I don't think I have ever seen him (although I could have when I was 7 years old very briefly). They may have met in 1947 at Michigan State Normal College in Ypsilanti, Michigan (now Eastern Michigan University). They lived in Salem, Michigan and Ypsilanti, Michigan. They were divorced approximately 1949-1950. I am 54 years old and I desperately want to find out if he is still alive or if I have brothers and/or sisters.
