Seeking family members of the Hall Family:

Louis Hall, born in Maryland, (Civil War Veteran with Kentucky Colored Troops)married Emeline Burl or Burril in 1866 (marriage recorded in Book of Colored Marriages?). They had seven children: One being Julia.

Julia married Reuben Williams (from Ohio - possibly Cleveland), and had two children: Arthur and Emma. Arthur died in infancy. Julia and daughter Emma moved to Detroit, Michigan. The whereabouts of Reuben unknown. They lived on Garfield. In 1909, Emma married Raymond Chester ("Chet") Lewis of Salem, Michigan and lived there until their deaths ("Chet"-5/14/1962 and
Emma -10/16/1964.)

Julia Hall Williams died in May, 1945 and was buried at Salem, Michigan.

Louis and Emeline Hall were my great-great grandparents. Julia was my great-grandmother. Chet and Emma were parents of my mother, Julia. Thank you.
