I begin my information on my GREEN family with.....
WILLIAM GREEN born about 1669 in County Antrim, Northern Ireland and was by occupation, a soldier. He was an Officer and served as part of the bodyguard for Prince William of Orange during the Protestant War against the Catholics in 1690. He fought in the famous Battle of the Boyne that established the Protestant rule in Northern Ireland which still survives today (2000).
