Searching for roots of Charles Philippe Gordon of
Maskinonge, Quebec, Canada who married #1.Veronique Corbin and then #2. Agathe Marchand.
There is quite an amount of info on the Canadian ladies that he married, but little info on Charles forebears and where they came from.
Do know Charles & Agathe were parents of George Alexander Gordon b.November 6, 1812 who migrated to NY married Matilda Boyd/Boyne..were parents of my Greatgrandfather Francis Archibald Gordon.
Would like to know if there are Scottish roots.
