William Giles was born 2 May 1848 in Necton,Norfolk,England. Emmigrated to USA during 1880's. Had been a miller.Had a brother, Walter, who stayed with him in USA. His father was Barlow Giles born about 1814, a yeoman farmer. His mother was Fanny Preston Reynolds, daughter of Rector of Necton. Unhappily he left a wife & 3 daughters in England ! It is assumed he remarried, and may not have supplied any of this information.
