George (sometimes George Henry) born c 1840 in London arrived in Greymouth New Zealand and married a widow Martha LEACH in 1879 he raised a family (my grandfather Gardiner Thomas GILBERT one of his children) and died 1887 and is buried in Greymouth Cemetery. Where did he come from and who were his parents or siblings we seem to have come to a blank before he arrived in Greymouth.
