I am searching for information on the parents of Amos Gilbert born about 1803 in Mass. He appears on the 1855 Herkimer county [NY] census with his wife Lydia and five children. I can share information about his daughter, Betsey [Elizabeth] D Gilbert who was my great grandmother.
