Caroline Gilbert married Isaiah Green in Jefferson Co. Ill. Their son William Green born 1858 married Grace Martin, also born 1858. Caroline's parents were Truman Gilbert born in Chittenden Co. VT. and Julia Dilley born in Ohio. Truman was the son of Eli Gilbert, born 1788, NH, and Susannah Gale, born 1791, NH. Eli's parent are Josiah Gilbert, born in Brookfield, MA.1749, and Lois Brooks born 1755. Josiah was the son of Josiah Gilbert, born 1716, MA. and Mary Goss, born 1717 Lancaster, MA.
