Miss Bertie Gibson
Dies Early Today;
Rites Thursday

Miss Bertie Gibson, Rt. 3, died at 8:30 this morning at Henry County Nursing
Home after several month's illness. She was 68.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 3 P.M. at Ridgeway Morticians.
The Rev. Quince P. Gregson will officiate and burial will be in Edgar
Cemetery. The body is at the funeral home.

Miss Gibson was born in Henry County in 1896 the daughter of the late
Mitchell Gibson and Annie Beard Gibson.

Surviving are four sisters, Mrs. Ethel Carr, Lansing, MI; Mrs Rhoda Ray,
Paris; Mrs. Lillie Littleton, Paris and Mrs. Herbert Oliver, Paris. Two
brothers, Ed Gibson of Paris and Joe Gibson of Louisville, KY.
