Myrex H. Fuller...listed Rutland Co, Vermont on his civil war papers as his home...born @ 1809 VT...He died in 1893 in Wilmington,Ill.

I'm trying to find out who his parents and possibly if he had brothers and/or sisters..Myrex is my GG grandfather....we know very little of him...But he seemed to leave VT and move to Michigan (Southfield) we pick him up in the 1840 census..he marries then divorces...joins the Union army in 64th and 39th Ill...and retires in Ill. Now, that's what we think happens..

Myrex's son name was John Cephus Fuller..born in Southfield MI in 1844..we can follow John from 1864 until his eventual death in 1923, but We have never tied John to Myrex, by record. There are no documents,wills,that we have found. The divorce papers just said children (didn't name them). Maranda Gardner was Myrex's wife...and we can't find her after the divorce was final in 1850. John is missing from his birth in 1844 birth until 1864..when he signs up for the Union Army in 1864 ( so in essence his first 20 years is a mystery...more than likely living with a grandmother, Maranda...or family )

John named his first "Myrex Fuller"
