I contacted you about two years ago regarding my father's family in Ravenna, NE. I did travel to Ravenna last week and found out a lot, about which I will tell you later. Right now I want to tell you that my father, Edward Samuel Friend, (b. Jan. 1887, d. Aug. 1944) was a veteran. He enlisted in the Army three times: 1902 - 1905, 1905 - 1908, and April - November 1918. Also, I am a Korean War veteran, having served from September 1953 - September 1955. My full name is James Philip Friend (b. 11/30/29).

I will contact you later when I compile the information I found in Nebraska.
