Is the name Richard a tradition in your family tree history? My ancestor Richard Everitt b.1613 Essex, England immigrated to Springfield/Jamaica, NY, area of the eastern shores of North America ca. 1630-1635. He is said to have arrived in Massachusetts aboard a ship of the Winthrop fleet. There are indications that he traveled with one, William Pyncheon. I am curious if you have this same ancestor.
My line is: 1. Richard Everitt b. ABT 1613, Essex Co., ENG. d. 4 Sep 1668, Jamaica, Queens, NY. m. (1) 29 Jun 1643 in Springfield, Hampdon, MA Mary Winch, b. ABT 1623 and had son Daniel. M.
