I am now surmising that my Martha Ann Dyer was the daughter of Joel Hunter Dyer and Rachel Elizabeth Sanders.

I am basing my guess on a few other researchers guesses that there was a "Martha" in this family that was not documented well, if at all. She also would have been married to James Bryce in 1846 before any "full family" listings were made in the 1850 census and not easily followed.

I am hoping someone can enlighten me on this family and if my guesses hold any water. I am also sure hoping to find a marriage record that may give me an answer...or at least a point in the right direction.
