James and Margret Dyer who were first cousins, born raised and married at Fort Sybert, Va, now West Virginia, they moved from there to Fort or Fork Lick, now Webester Springs, West Virginia. They became farmers after their idea of collecting salt and selling it to the others, who were living there. They had and raised their family there, and are buried there in Webester Springs. James Jr was the son of James son of Roger and Hannah Dyer, who came from Pa. and moved their family to Fort Seybert, before 1748. James was married three times and fathered sixteen children. I am from the Roger Dyer line. Hope this helpes. Edsel V. Dyer
