Looking for the family of Thomas R Doty b. abt 1805 in NY. I have not been able to any information on Thomas R Doty's family. He moved to AL sometime before 1826 because he married Elizabeth Isabel Allison (b. abt 1809) 10 Oct 1826 in Blount Co AL. I am related through their decendents all born in AL. David Alphus (Dota) Doty 1836-1911 wife Lorinda Rutherford 1847-1912. Napoleon R Doty 1870-1897 wife Emily Jane Chambers 1870-1912. Garnet Edward Doty 1893-1979 wife Ida Mae Presley 1899-1981. My father James Paul Doty 1924-1989 1st wife my mother Mildred Frances Quick 1930-1994 2nd wife Virginia E Dodd birth and death dates unknown.
