I am looking for a Mary or Polly Dodson who is supposed to be the adopted daughter of Baptist Preacher Lazarus Dodson. She was supposedly born around 1765 in VA. The information I have is that Mary/Polly was the illegitimate child of a Reynolds (Runnels) and was left at Dodson's doorstep. Any help would be much appriciated!
