My great-grandmother, Rebecca Angeline Day was married to Hiram Coker aka L.M Coker.
Rebecca is often listed as "Lina" in census records.
A relative lists Rebecca's father as "Andrew Day" but I have no confirmation. Some family rumors state that her parents weren't officially married and her mother's name may have been Rebecca as well.
My grandfather, her son stated that Rebecca and her brother H.A. Day were both orphans raised by their grandparents...so I am unsure as to whether the "Andrew" listed is really her father or grandfather...no solid connections just family rumors.
Rebecca is buried in the Salem Baptist Church Cemetery along with many of the Coker's and her brother and his family in Fitzgerald.
