I am researching the Day Family name. I have very little info on the Day family. My grandmother was Hattie Mae Day married to James William Bentley. Her parents were John Michael Day and Mary Frances McElroy. John M. Day b.8, May, 1880, d. June 26, 1952. He is buried in Waterloo, Irwin County, GA. My grandmother had several sisters and brothers, a few of these are Pauline Day, Dessie Day, Joe Day, Buddy Day. I am looking for any info that may help. I was told that my grandmother was born in Cleburn County, Al but not sure of this as of yet.
