Jr. had a brother named Gordon, their father's name was Lewis Roach Day, b. Palmyra, Macoupin Co.,IL and mother was Charlotte "Lottie" Gordon Day, B. Lynnville, Morgan Co, IL. James A. Jr. may have been born in Greene or Scott Co IL

James A., Jr. had a son named James Lewis Day born Oct. 5,1923, before James L. was 10yrs. the family lived in St. Louis MO area. James L. was later a Marine Officer and m. Sally Gayle, and as of 1959, lived in Barstow, CA.
James L. and Sally had 3 children by 1959: Gayle Day, 1952, William Day 1954, and James Day 1955, all 3 were born in San Diego, CA
I am Gordon's grdaughter and my mother lost track of James A. Jr. but I have letters from Gayle to my grmother from the 1930's and had disappeared at that time. Later it was said he ended up in the Peoria IL Area, but I don't have any documentation for that.
