My gggrandfather was DAVID COMPTON who was married to LUCY unk. and had a family with her but the family and spouse disappeared from the 1860 census and DAVID married BETSEY COURTRIGHT June 24, 1851 in Fulton, Dane Co., WI. They had one child, my ggrandfather, FRANK (lin Pierce)Born circa February 22, 1853. DAVID did not appear in any census in 1860. BETSEY had married RICHARD DAVIS and they had one daughter as well as FRANK COMPTON 8 years old in the 1860 Albion, Dane Co., WI census. I would like to find any information about the death dates of DAVID, his wife, LUCY and their children and where they were buried. Were they SEVENTH DAY BAPTIST church members? If so where would I find archived records of the church? Any help would be appreciated.
