My name is Scott Arthur Compton.
I live & work in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada.
I am descended from the Compton line who came to Canada from the United States following the American War of Independence. My father's name is Oliver

I know I have relatives in the US both distantly related from Comptons who remained after the revolution and comptons who, generations later left Canada and went to the United States to work and live. One of those who left was my grandfather (John Compton's) sister Mary. They were born in Belle River, P.E.I. She married a Gerard from Mass., USA.
