I'm looking for my Great Grandmother Alice Frost Coffin, Born in Haverhill, Essex Co., Mass. around the 1870's. She married a Charles S Forbes, Born I believe in Huntington, Chittenden Co., Vermont. (That is was is on his daughters birth cert)they had a Daughter, Marjorie Coffin Forbes, born 12-1-1894, in Worcester, Worcester Co., Mass. by 1916 when Marjorie got married, Alice had remarried Sumner Wallace, and moved to Rochester, Stafford Co., New Hampshire. (On daughters marriage license it has Charles place of birth as Boston, Mass.) I believe this is where he lived at the time of marriage. She moved sometime later to York, York Co. Maine by the Nubble lighthouse. she owned 2 house on I believe Nubble Road, side by side. One may have been a brothers or brother-in-laws house who pass away, and left her the property(??) I know one was torn down before the other, why I can't remember if fire was a possibilty or not. I believe her house was made in to a bed and breakfast or a rooming house for a while. sister thinks it was a gift shop (??) We believe she passed in the 1950's sometime (?) If any of this sounds familar to you, I have a picture of Alice from like the 30's.
