I have for years been looking for the family of William Cochran, br.about 1805, in Ireland. He came to North America about 1834 with three children, Sarah, br 1832, William, br 18 Oct 1830, and Anna, br 1828, all born in Ireland. His wife was probably dead because by 1838, he had married Lena Murdock and had a son, James, br 1838 in Pennsylvania. She was from Pa. and too young to be the mother of the other children. They settled in Monroe Co., Ohio. Records of that time have been destroyed in a fire. We believe that William married again, an Edith Dunbar and had 6 more children: John, Br 1852, Mary Jane, br 1852, Levi, 1854, Susan Ann, br 1858, Mariah or Mahale A, br 1860 and Ruth, br 1865.
