Hi all

I am researching the cleaver family of east kent in the UK. I am Terry Cleaver of Dover and I am now as far back as Israel Moses Cleaver and his parents. It is here we are now stuck. I have given all the details I can in order from present backwards to Israel and his parents to see whether anyone has any information regarding him.

I am Terry Cleaver b. 2nd May 1986, Dover UK

Son of:

Anthony James Cleaver b 2nd June 1964 - Wingham nr Canterbury, UK
and Diane June Cleaver (nee Henley) b 5th june 1965, Dover, UK

Anthony has 2 sisters:
Gloria Ann Cleaver b. 15 Dec 1961 (not married, no children)

and Cynthia Caroline Bianchi (nee Cleaver) b 31 dec 1962 and married to Neil Romano Bianchi. They have one child James Romano Bianchi b 14 nov 1985.

Anthony, and his sisters are the children of:

Victor James Cleaver b 28 oct 1936 who is married to Barbara Ellen Cleaver (nee Dennis) b 21 aug 1940. Victor we believe was born in Littlebourne nr Canterbury, UK and Barbara at Dambridge nr Wingham nr Canterbury UK.

Victor is son of Frederick Charles Cleaver b 4 sept 1895 and Ellen Cleaver (nee Fagg) b 15 may 1902.
Victor has 2 brothers Frederick Charles Cleaver married to Dolly, Frank Edward Cleaver married to Dolly and he has 1 sister Sylvia Croud (nee Cleaver) who married Donald Croud.

Frederick Charles Cleaver's dad was Isreal Moses Cleaver b 1863 who lived at Woodnesborough nr Sandwich at Down Court Farm and was born there. He married Alice (maiden name unknown) at Eastry church at Eastry nr Sandwich in 1890.

Israel Moses Cleaver had a brother James Cleaver born in 1861 who is mentioned with him and his parents in the 1881 British census of the area at Down Court Farm, woodnesborough nr Sandwich.

His parents were James Cleaver b 1839, at Swalecliffe in Kent and his mother was Hannah Cleaver (maiden name unknown) born in Staple, Canterbury Kent in 1838.

We do not know whether Israel's son Frederick Charles had any other brothers or sisters or what Alice Cleaver (israels wife) maiden name was nor her full details and where/when she was born.

If you have any information on the descendents of James Cleaver (Israels brother) that would be useful and so would that of Hannah and James Cleaver (Israels parents) and Hannahs maiden name.
