Hi. I'm searching for any information on my great-great grandfather, John Calvin CLARK (b. 08 Mar 1828 in Louisiana, d. 17 Jul 1873 buried in Pascagoula, MS).
He married my great-great grandmother, Catherine Louise BAPTISTE (d/o Jacob & Eugenie KREBS)in Neuces County Texas in 1860.
The 1870 Jackson County, MS Census listed him as living in Dutch Bayou, Pascagoula - his occupation 'bookkeeper'.
They had at least six children: John Jay, Percy, Hubert, Julia, William, and Jeff Davis.
