My CLARKS came to TX before 1867, when my great grandfather William Monroe CLARK was born in Liberty TX. (His parents: Thomas J. CLARK and Martha Lavonia CLAPP).

William Monroe CLARK (1867-1958) married Willie Mae ALBRIGHT (1874-1948) in 1898 in Crockett, Houston Co., TX. My grandfather William Franklin CLARK was born in Houston Co. in 1899, and he married my grandmother Eula Clara JONES there in 1922. My mother Dorothy Lee CLARK was born in Slaton in 1928. The family later moved to Hobbs, NM, where William Monroe CLARK died in 1958.

Would love to hear from any CLARK-JONES-CLAPP-ALBRIGHT cousins! I'm just getting started in genealogy, so I don't have much to offer yet.
