Merritt Clark born 1797 Kentucky; lived in Barren and Hart Counties Kentucky. Possible father: Moses Clark who witnessed Merritt's marriage in Hart County KY in 1819; 1840 Fleming County KY census shows Moses Clark, Revolutionary Soldier from Virginia Continental Line; have found his Millitary Warrant from 1783. Merritt and brothers/descendants moved to Dent County MO around 1830s. Anyone out there researching this line?
