I am searching for the parents of Henry C. Carter. I am guessing that his father is Albert and his mother could be ophelia or elizabeth. He was born in Tennessee and has an older half brother James Willis Kennedy also born in Tennessee. I believe they were both born in Henderson Co. and both served in the 27th Tennessee Infantry, Company K during the Civil War. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
