I'm still looking for Stephen Carter's birth parents or siblings. He is suppose to have been born in N.Y. (he may have been born in Connecticut). in 1761 and got married in 1807 in Québec City, Canada. He then moved with his wife Marie-Louise Foucher (Faucher) to Ste-Marie, Beauce, Québec, Canada where he died in 1823.
