I am trying to find info on my great great grandfather William Monroe Carter, he was born on June 17 1870, he was married twice, to Harriet Russell and then to Virgina Greenwood.
I am trying to find out who William's father might have been. I believe it could have been Benjamin F. Carter, born around 1837 in Yadkin County NC. Benjamin was the son of Joshua Carter and Sarah Penright.
Does anyone have any info on Benjamin F. Carter. I am looking for evidence that either proves or disproves that William Monroe Carter was his son.
