I'm currently researching the Butler family from Tenterfield. James and his wife Amelia Woodleigh Turner came out to Australia on the "Parsee" arriving in Moreton Bay abt 1852. James worked at Maryland Station before later taking up land near Dalveen QLD Australia. This property was later swapped for property at Tenterfield NSW Australia. James and Amelia had several children, including 5-6 from James' previous marriage to Susan Barnes. Any information on this family would be greatly appreciated.
