Would like to find parents of Elizabeth Brooks born in Garrard Ky. abt 1779 She married Cornelius Thomas Humphries. Have a family letter stating that Grandma (Elizabeth) was a trueblood Brooks from Va. I don't know what that means other than her parents came from Va. to Ky. where she was born. Also I have a picture of one of Elizabeths children, Lucinda and she looks to be at least 1/2 native american and it seems that this Brooks line is of indian dessent (unknown tribe but is assumed Cherokee) Can anyone send any info my way?
