Looking for descendants of George BOTSFORD who married Lavina Thompson CRAMPTON in mid-to-late 1860s in Wisconsin. Lavina was the widow of Willard CRAMPTON. In the 1870 Census George and Lavina are found listed with Lavina's four children. George was 38 and Lavina 43. George was listed as born in Vermont. In our family (descendants of Carmi, son of Lavina and Willard CRAMPTON) it is said that George and Lavina BOTSFORD had a child Jennie, who married SUTTON. George and Lavina BOTSFORD are found in a later Census in Crow Wing County Minnesota, and Lavina is said to have died at the home of her daughter Amelia at Spring Valley Wisconsin.
