John Bell of England and Indiana

John Bell was born in England in 1800. He came to the US in about 1820, possibly through the Port of New Orleans. He married Sarah Chance in 1827 in Harrison County, Indiana, and moved to New Albany, Floyd County, Indiana about 1833. He and Sarah had 14 children. John died in 1856 in New Albany, and Sarah died in 1897 in Illinois. I am particularly interested in any information about his arrival in the US, and where in England his family home was.
