Looking for information on John Bell. He was born in London on May 29, 1800, and immigrated to this country sometime between 1816 and 1827, probably around 1820. He probably entered this country through New Orleans and settled in Indiana. He married Sarah Chance on July 3, 1827 in Harrison County, Indiana, and they had 14 children. He died on August 4, 1856 in Floyd County, Indiana. I am particularly interested in who his parents were and where in London he was born.
