James was born Dec. 11, 1826 he migrated to Pontotoc County, Ms. after Indian lands opened up there before 1850 and appears on their census then. He married Rhoda Rasanna Pannell June 4, 1850. I think his mother was Rachel Bell who was also born in South Carolina and would like any additional information regarding her. I am uncertain about her surname or other children.
