Looking for information on William Augustus Bailey who was a US Marshal in the Oklahoma Indian Territory @1895. He had a child (Nora Isabella Bailey, b 1896) by an Indian woman named Jane Robertson. (I doubt they were ever married.) After Jane died, William took his daughter Nora to live with some of his people around Cleburne, Johnson Co., TX. William's family called Nora an orphan. Any information on William or Jane would be greatly appreciated! I am not trying to step on any toes- or offend anyone- just looking for ancestors!
