I'm researching the allen family tree for my family located in Nacogdoches, Tx. I unfortunately don't have much to go on only names of some living relatives whom I have not been able to contact. My mothers maiden name is Ann Marie Allen, she has 2 brothers by the names of Matt and Frank Allen, 3 sisters by the names of Peggy, Theresa and Cathleen Allen. I don't know what theeir current married names are. My mother has burned to many bridges and refuses to speak of my family to me. I remember a woman I called aunt Annie as a child and that I also have an uncle named Guy Allen who owns a welding/ machine shop somewhere in central Texas. I know only that my grandmother Catherine Allen. Her married name is all I have except that I know she died in a car crash around the time I was supposed to be born in 1973. I believe she was buried at the Holly Grove Cemetery. I'm very new to genealogy research and so far its been all a dead end. any info and help you all may have would be greatly apprieciated.
