I am looking for information on the parents of my 2x-great grandfather, Harper ALLEN, b. 1824 in Maine. His first wife was Helen. Son Caleb H. Allen was born in Ashland, ME in 1861. By the 1870 census Harper was married to Maria (widow of Josiah Blake). By the 1880 census Maria was listed as a widow.
