I'm not trying to do anything except confirm who I believe to be my line of Adkins ,Thomas Adkins b. abt 1866 according to marriage Cabel Co Wv. record to Emily Jane Tyree d/o Charles and Surname Toney comes in here . Thomas died after his sons Andrew F 1896 , Frank , Chester , were born Census also list a Lemmon that is hard to read but could just have been a nickname for one of them , Living with Emily Jane and J Q A Woods in 1900. My Grandfather Andrew F died 1932 in Kanawha Co WV. So all family history apparently died with them as we cant find anything to verify that Thomas was the Son of Hamilton and Malinda Peirson d/o Simon but dates and location and the fact that they also had an Andrew , seems the only close Adkins that we can find . Also there seems to be a lot of confusion online as to this Hamiltons parents , One was made a ward of Luke , and he may have had a son named Hamilton also but there was around three listed . One listed on sites is married to Malinda P and a Frances Authur but as far as I can tell and according to cencus this is in error. I would love to have any info from anyone about this as I need to find the right GG Grandparents Anyone ???Thank you Linda
