Mary was my gr. grandmother, she married John C.
Barker Sr. They were on the 1900 census for Boone co. W.V. she was 34, birthday in August.
This is the closest I have came to finding her. I think she is the daughter of Lafayette Adkins and
Katherine Plumley.
Lafayette and Katherine was on the 1850 census in
Boone co. Lafayette was 23, Katherine 19. They had
3 children: Green 4 yrs. Thomas 2 yrs. and Adaline 1 mo. My grandmother told me her mother's
family was from Ky. My gr. grandmother died when my grandmother was very young.My grandmother Naomi Lee Barker was born 1910, Mary must have died before 1920. I need to be 100% sure, but i am
