Hi Askew, My name is Johnny Parker and I work at the Consolidated Gold Mine here in Dahlonega, GA. Looking through some of the old records for the mine (1898-1906) the name John W. Adams shows up. Don't know if this is the same John Adams you're looking for or not but possibly. This John Adams comes to Dahlonega from Chattanooga after chartering the Dahlonega Consolidated Gold Mining Company in 1898. He is listed in the Chattanooga phone/business directory of 1900.
